At Stone Acres Farm, we grow delicious food in a sustainable manner that is nourishing to the environment that supports it. Our farming decisions are guided by a passion for the importance of flavor, adventure and variety in food, keeping in mind the wisdom of natural systems and the role they play in agriculture. We believe that the best food is local food, and to that end we are very excited to offer a source for fresh produce for your family through all four seasons.

The Farmstand Market & Pantry
The Stone Acres Farmstand Market offers the best of what Connecticut farms and artisans produce. Wood fired bread, hot from the oven; fresh greens and succulent strawberries straight from the fields; honey from our bees and a wide variety of artisanal cheeses are just some of the many fresh offerings you will find at the market.
The Farmstand is open for the winter season. Follow signs when you arrive on campus.

Join Our CSA Program
Our CSA program (Community Supported Agriculture) is a partnership between you and Stone Acres Farm. We are offering the community an opportunity to invest in local agriculture, to enjoy the experience of eating locally sourced food, and to discover delicious new varieties of both familiar and unfamiliar vegetables, produce and herbs. By purchasing your 'share of the harvest' and becoming a CSA member, you also provide us with a stable foundation in our efforts to grow food with a philosophy that promotes the environment, biodiversity, health and community.
You can purchase a CSA 'share' through our online shop.
Another way to pay for your CSA membership is through work on the farm. We are looking for up to eight individuals or families who would like to help with the harvest process to earn their share. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the mission, learn more about where your food comes from, and enjoy the bounty from the gardens. Participants will need to be available on Wednesday or Saturday mornings. Please contact our lead farmer, Andy Meek at FarmerAndySAF@gmail.com.
