Young Cooks & Farmers - Week Four: Cheese Please

July 13 to July 16 from 930AM to 1230PM

Separate the curds from the whey in these hands-on cooking classes where students will make fresh cheese and transform it into colorful caprese skewers, honey-drizzled ricotta toast, gooey quesadillas, elegant cheese boards, and countless other creations.

Our Young Cooks & Farmers classes bring children ages 6 - 13 to the farm to experience regenerative farming and seasonal cooking. Kids will spend the morning on Stone Acres Farm in the fields and greenhouses, and in the Yellow Farmhouse kitchen preparing nutritious and delicious food.

Students will learn mise en place, knife skills, recipe reading, and more. Beyond the kitchen, kids will help the farmers in the fields and have time to explore the farm. They'll bring home a deeper connection to where their food comes from, memories of time spent in nature, and recipes galore!
