Frequently Asked Questions

Farm

  • Our 65-acre working farm produces a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers, all grown using sustainable practices that support soil health and biodiversity. Depending on the season, you’ll find leafy greens, root vegetables, tomatoes and many varieties of squash, alongside field-grown flowers, herbs, and honey from our resident bees. We also collaborate with local producers to offer thoughtfully sourced dairy, meats, and artisanal goods that complement what we grow here at Stone Acres.

  • Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program allows members to enjoy the freshest seasonal harvests while directly supporting our farm’s mission. We currently offer vegetable shares and flower shares, each designed to showcase the best of our fields throughout the growing season. CSA members receive a weekly selection of produce and a bouquet of farm blooms, along with recipe ideas and updates from the farm team. Shares are picked up at the farmstand. Visit our CSA page for full details and registration information.

  • Our farmstand hours change seasonally to reflect the rhythms of the farm. For the most up-to-date information, please visit our Visit Us page. We are typically open Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Mondays, with occasional adjustments for holidays or weather.

  • You’ll find an ever-changing selection of farm-fresh produce, herbs, eggs, and cut flowers, as well as provisions from regional partners—cheeses, meats, honey, baked goods, and locally made pantry staples.

Our online shop currently offers CSA registration and share options, with plans to expand over time to include Stone Acres–branded merchandise and a rotating selection of non-perishable goods. All CSA shares and future online products are available for farm pick-up only; shipping is not offered at this time.

  • Guests are welcome to explore the gardens and fields when no private events are in progress, and we ask that all children are thoughtfully supervised—especially near the pond. Please stay off actively farmed land and refrain from picking or disturbing any flowers or produce so our crops can thrive and be enjoyed by all.

  • Yes—leashed dogs are welcome unless an event description specifically states otherwise. Please be courteous to other guests and clean up after your pet.

  • We ask all guests to respect the working nature of the farm. Please stay within public areas and avoid staff-only zones. Families are warmly welcomed, but children must be supervised at all times.

  • Folding chairs, blankets, and other seating are recommended, as seating on the farm is limited.

  • Follow us on Instagram and Facebook or sign up for our newsletter to receive updates about farm dinners, workshops, live music, seasonal festivals, and more.

  • Yes—educational visits, field trips, and group tours are available by appointment. Please reach out to our team in advance so we can help plan your visit and provide a meaningful experience.

  • For outdoor events and farmstand operations, we may adjust hours or cancel in the event of severe weather. We’ll share updates on our website and social media if any changes occur.
