Announcing the WINTER PROTEIN CSA!

Sign up for the Winter Protein CSA featuring pasture raised chicken, locally raised grass-fed beef, and pastured pork! Each week, come to Stone Acres to pick up your weekly protein share. We are curating CSA boxes with our own pasture-raised chicken, grass-fed beef from JW Beef in Stonington, CT,  and pastured pork from Pat's Pastured in East Greenwich, RI, and Silk Tree Farm in Exeter, RI.

The Winter Protein CSA provides our community with the highest quality, locally raised food during the winter months, when local food is typically least available. By joining the protein CSA, you provide our farm with much needed capital to reinvest into our livestock program at a time when we are buying supplies for the season ahead.

How it works?
  • Pick up in the farm stand Wednesday - Sunday 10 am - 5 pm

  • Pick up begins February 15th

  • Final pick up April 7th

  • Weekly box contains $60 value of local meat

2023 Veggie CSA SHARES

Our CSA program (Community Supported Agriculture) is a partnership between you and Stone Acres Farm. We take pride in offering high quality food and flowers to our community. All of our crops and flowers are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. All of our livestock have 24/7 access to fresh pasture and receive Connecticut Grown non-GMO feed. We take great care to keep the ecosystem which supports the farm healthy and balanced, promoting biodiversity and focusing on soil health as the bedrock of our farming success.

How does our CSA Work?

We offer produce, flower and chicken CSA programs. CSA members choose which CSA programs they would like to participate in. Each CSA program has options for the size and duration of shares. CSA members visit the farm to pick up their Stone Acres grown food and flowers. CSA members gain intimate access to the intricacies of local food production. As a CSA member, you become a shareholder in the season's harvest and experience all of the ups and downs of a farming season.

Veggie CSA

Starting in June, CSA members pick up a weekly assortment of vegetables. Veggie shares are available in full and half sizes for 12 or 20 week periods. We do our best to build as much choice into each weekly share, including several selections of fresh greens or roots bunches. Each week during CSA pick up time, CSA members come to the farm to pick up their CSA share, visit the farmstand, tour the fields, and interact with the farmers and other CSA members.
